Inspired by his life-long love of equestrian skill, Paul Costelloe brings his heritage brand Paul Costelloe Dressage to this season’s London Fashion Week. Dressage shows the ultimate equestrian discipline where training of horse and rider results in a picture of harmony and a beautiful partnership.

Costelloe’s in-house family team created a narrative print, portraying the modern day equestrian world in colour and also monochrome. This was displayed on dresses, trousers and blouses as well as scarves.

The traditional equestrian jodhpur gracefully canters onto the runway with a modern twist. Snug fitting from below the knee to the ankle but instead of the original flaring at the hips, the look is updated with extra volume sporting large flapped-patch pockets and zipped side pockets. Convenient for racegoers racing items. Seen in tweed, wool and a luxurious cream velvet corduroy. Worn with matching Baker Boy caps.

Costelloe updates another historical trouser style – the knee breeches sometimes called knickerbockers.

Winter wool coats range from the short cape coat to the maxi length.

Sumptuous fabrics from Magees of Ireland and Harris of Scotland with traditional Irish knitwear and wool hosiery.

An autumnal colour palette of chestnut browns and amber yellows with winter palette of creams, berry reds and midnight blacks.
