The first day is Ladies Day featuring the Betfred Oaks and the second day is Derby Day featuring the Betfred Derby which is known as the Greatest Flat Race in the World. Official Dress Code for the Queen Elizabeth II Stand Enclosure on Derby Day 

You must wear a formal day dress or a tailored trouser suit, with a hat or fascinator. This dress code applies to both Queen Elizabeth II Stand ticket holders and Queen Elizabeth II Stand Hospitality guests. Not Permitted: Fancy dress, inappropriate or offensive outfits, as anything deemed vulgar or derogatory may be refused entry. Sports clothes: team colours and team kits are not permitted.

We say: Although there is no dress code, most ladies will be glamorously dressed and wear a headpiece. We say: In the grandstand, ladies do still like to dress up and some wear a headpiece. The other enclosures are more casual.
