Although British Champions Day is not the final day of the Flat racing season, it is the last of the major festivals and a popular end-of-season highlight. Held this year on Saturday 18th October 2025.
Official Dress Code in the King Edward VII Enclosure & Hospitality Areas

Examples of acceptable attire include but are not limited to: A dress, suit or jumpsuit with a hat or headpiece. Trainers are not allowed. Fancy dress, novelty attire and sportswear are also not permitted.
Ladies, We Say…We wouldn’t like to bet on the weather being warm and sunny so try go for a dress in a warmer fabric such as jersey and preferably with long sleeves – a great transitional piece allowing you to layer underneath with a thermal T-shirt and thick tights if it is a bit nippy.
