Omar Mansoor at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer ‘26

London based fashion designer, Omar Mansoor, made his debut at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026, following a successful run in Paris. His new collection, Lapis Lazuli, was a stunning mix of old-world charm and modern style.
Mansoor’s collection showcased his signature silk designs, featuring a variety of dresses—ranging from knee-length to full-length, sleeveless to long-sleeved—all decorated with semi-precious stones and Uzbek Ikat trimmings. The blend of luxurious fabrics and fine detailing gave each piece a timeless feel, while maintaining a fresh, contemporary edge.

“The Lapis Lazuli collection is inspired by strength and history, bringing together tradition and modernity,” said Mansoor.

Drawing inspiration from the ancient gemstone revered by civilizations from the Indus Valley to Renaissance Europe, Mansoor built his collection around a single, striking hue: a rich, dark blue. Entirely crafted from pure, sustainable silk, the pieces featured lapis lazuli stones hand-embroidered into elegant silhouettes—offering a seamless fusion of Eastern ornamentation and Western tailoring.

“There’s a timelessness to lapis,” Mansoor noted backstage. “That’s what I want from my clothes—to endure.”

In a week filled with drama and excess, Lapis Lazuli stood apart as a reminder that true luxury is quiet, considered, and deeply rooted in both purpose and beauty.

With his unique combination of glamour and bold design, Omar Mansoor continues to redefine luxury fashion for a new generation.
