AF Refresh by Anthony French
Made to order fashion and home style textiles inspired by the beauty of fashion and yarn, weaving together vibrant colours and rich textiles to create pieces that stand out from the crowd.
Titled ‘Dressed for Revenge’ the collection is based on reimagining Miss Haversham where romance returns as power. The pieces are layers of blousy rose prints, a hush of purple sequins, intense blues and textured knits into the armour of lace and light. Colour palette of candlewax, ash, smoke, wilted rose, tarnished silver along with bruise violet sparkle and ink well blue. Overdye techniques flood seams and hems for depth. Foiled organza under ghost tulle , micro beaded dew and scattered crystal teardrops.
“The bouquet isn’t wilting, it’s weaponised” says Anthony French “We’ve added bruise violet sequins and saturated blues so the sweetness bites back.”
