
The Futurity Trophy Weekend is Doncaster’s second most famous racing event after St Leger. As one of the final highlights of the flat racing season, this weekend buzzes with excitement featuring the future champions, great entertainment and the chance to dress up. However when considering what to wear to Doncaster, go for layering to keep warm. The dates this year are Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October 2025.

In general the racecourse recommends something smart-casual, and discourage racegoers from wearing any sportswear or ripped jeans.

Premier Enclosure and the Home Straight Restaurant – smart attire for ladies. Jeans and sportswear are not permitted in these areas. The dress code also applies to children.
