The Puffer

The Tweed

Tweed is favoured by all ages as the fabric choice for a day at the winter races. This is partly due to its durability and warmth, but also due to its rising status in the fashion world making it attractive to the younger generation.

Brand new from Maude and Fox, The Karl  tweed coat has a long cut made of a tweed impregnated with teflon for weather proofing. The large hood, which can be drawn tight around a cap or hat, and its extra large deep pockets make it great for a day at the races. Lined with a silky satin with fleece in the hood, The pocket has a stripe detail and also features a hidden mini pocket for keys etc. Tweed trim to pockets and suede trim to cuffs. The Shearling 

The warmth of a sheepskin coat/jacket means you can usually forgo too many layers  even on the coldest days. The original sheepskin flight jacket was designed by stuntman Leslie Irvin and he became the main supplier to the RAF during WWII. As airplanes were uninsulated, a warm thick jacket was essential for all crew members. Originally to be worn soaring through the skies, this style of jacket still reaches to the top of the fashion heights for every winter season.
