Continuing his father’s fashion legacy, William Costelloe presented his debut collection as Creative Director of the Paul Costelloe brand. In honour of his father and the fashion house he created, William kept the Paul Costelloe brand’s DNA of fine tailoring and heritage fabrics whilst signalling fresh beginnings from hand sculpted florals of the same fabrics adorning jackets to a classic version of the hoodie with oversized collars sweeping over the head.

William explores modern tailoring with an 80s vibe through bold proportions of strong, structured shoulders and sculpted silhouettes. Tailoring crafted from 100% Irish wool and tweeds by Magee Fabrics chosen by Paul Costelloe last year.
Structured coats and corsetry are softened with tonal silk and organza blouses and wide pleated trousers introduce movement and graceful ease.

Knitwear played a key role with full cashmere strong yet elegant silhouettes.
The in-house print, designed by Paul and William Costelloe, in three colourways, marks their final collaboration before Paul’s passing. An enduring tribute to their shared vision.

The colour palette starts with soft muted autumnal hues of earth toned tweeds, creams, chocolate and tan browns then changes to the bolder and sharper wintry black and charcoal. The closing look introduced a new dimension of the brand with subtle sequined suits and tuxedos featuring diamante button details, alongside fluid black and silver jacquard dresses.
William says “My father will always be my inspiration, creating beautiful clothes for all women to dream and wear with pride and love. Thank you for all your support.”
