Newmarket boasts two racecourses: The Rowley Mile and the July Course. The July Course has more of a garden atmosphere with its picturesque flowers and thatched roofs, and is used in the middle of the summer season. Debenhams, the digital department store, is the Title Partner of Newmarket’s July Festival this year which starts on Thursday 9th July to Saturday 11th July 2025.

The official dress code is” Dress to Feel Your Best, wear what feels right for you and will keep you feeling your best from start to finish”. Fancy dress is allowed, however inappropriate or offensive outfits should be avoided as anything deemed vulgar or derogatory may be refused entry. Please refrain from wearing team kits.
