Global Fashion Collective (GFC) is a platform that aims to accelerate designer development by producing runway showcases globally in fashion capitals, increasing international media visibility. As the sister company to Vancouver Fashion Week, GFC works with a wide range of international designers at all runway shows in Tokyo, New York, London, Milan, and Paris during Fashion Week. At London Fashion Week GFC presented four international designers:

ME Maria Elena di Terlizzi
Italian designer, Maria Elena Di Terlizzi presented her SS27 collection titled: RYO King of Green. The collection is dedicated to Ryo, a dear friend and eclectic writer whose street art brought colour and expression to train cars travelling from Apulia across Europe. Blending haute couture craftsmanship with the vibrant energy of graffiti, the collection transformed memory into wearable art through bold shades of magenta and green, metallic silver, and sharply defined gradients inspired by Ryo’s murals. Soft georgette, silk, and structured cady were paired with intricate pleating reminiscent of railway tracks, while hand-embroidery, mesh weaving, and bespoke hand-painted fabrics brought his original graffiti into each design. Rooted in the meticulous tailoring traditions of Apulia, the collection created an intimate dialogue between urban art, Italian craftsmanship, and emotional storytelling.

JOACHIM
Founded in Lesotho by Katiso Joachim Tsoho, JOACHIM presented a bold collection that brought the visual language of Basotho culture into a contemporary luxury context. Drawing from cultural symbols and traditions including Litema, the Thebe shield, the Mokorotlo, Mohobelo, and Basotho blankets, the collection translated heritage into distinctive patterns, knit structures, silhouettes, graphics, and detailing. Across knitwear, tailoring, outerwear, and accessories, each look reflected the brand’s commitment to preserving identity while continuously evolving its craftsmanship and design language. Rooted firmly in Lesotho yet created for an international audience, JOACHIM demonstrated how tradition can move forward without losing its cultural foundation. The collection reinforced the brand’s defining vision: Basotho culture expressed through contemporary design and built for the world.

SPIKY CHERRY
Berlin-based designer Anna Tchashin and founder of Spiky Cherry unveiled her SS27 collection titled Manufactured Grace. Inspired by her past as a competitive ice dancer and her exploration of the tension between beauty, discipline, and pain. Reimagining crochet as a medium for sculptural luxury fashion, Tchashin used hand-combined yarns, deconstructed construction, raw edges, and fragmented surfaces to wrap, compress, expose, and distort the body. Drawing from the demanding world of elite performance, the collection examined how grace and perfection can be carefully manufactured through repetition, physical strain, scrutiny, and control. Softness became armour as delicate craftsmanship collided with the rebellious codes of punk and goth culture, preserving the elegance and theatricality of performance while revealing what can exist beneath its polished surface. Bringing together competitive sport, medicine, intimate handcraft, and subculture, Manufactured Grace transformed personal history into form and pain into a powerful visual language.

OSCURO
A French label, OSCURO was founded by self-taught designer Xavier Lopez and made its London debut with UMBRA. Rooted in the house’s signature deep-black palette, the Spring/Summer 2027 collection introduced a colder, more structured and almost solemn vision where precise tailoring met the raw energy of premium streetwear. Dark tailoring, urban utility and brutal elegance shaped the collection, with an emphasis on considered construction, premium fabrics and OSCURO’s meticulous approach to detail. UMBRA continued the brand’s evolution while leaving its meaning intentionally open to interpretation, allowing each look to speak through silhouette, texture and form.
